Unconquered

"Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul."

Invictus (1875), William Ernest Henley

It's been exactly 4 weeks since my first and last post. Was on hiatus due to my exams.
My last paper's due in less than 36 hours. Yet, procrastination still dominates my mind.  Argh. WHY!?!?!

Sigh. Complacency has always been my weakness. I NEED to keep my focus.

*Smacks head*

Anyway, life needs a little sorting out after my exams. Everything's a mess. Hope things will turn for the better.

Back to revision. What's next?

Change

" They say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself. "
Andy Warhol (1928-1987), The Philosophy of Andy Warhol

Time. People. Things. Places.
The perplexity of life bemuses me.
Will I be able to recognise myself if I go back in time?
Have I changed that much?
Perhaps.
Only I will ever know.
Yet I still do not have the answers to those questions.

Okay. Philosophical self aside, can't believe I'm actually doing this.
Swore not to blog ever since the blog craze started. Never felt the need to do so.
But..... have to admit, I failed to realise that the fragile mind can only contain so much thoughts. There's only so much a person can write out on a piece of paper before being bored out.
Hmmmmm, okay... maybe that's just me.

So, I've broken my oath. Big deal.

Moving on, I need to get started on my exam revision soon. My level of procrastination is just beyond belief recently.... Curse you FACEBOOK LINKS! Seems to be the trend these days. Speaking of trends, think I started a Skype-craze among my group of friends. Imagine doing a group assignment over Skype... eliminates the need for a mutual meeting place, has the ease of conversation, flexibility and comfort at home.
Yes, we did that over the last few days =P

Initial ramblings. Done. Check. What's next?
